I am a qualified supervisor with eight years of experience working with supervisees within the Cruse Bereavement Care organisation. As a person centred Counsellor I take this approach into my supervision work, taking time to build a supportive relationship with my supervisees. Over a period of time I have supervised a wide range of therapists, ranging from University students, students on college placements, and also experienced counsellors.

In the last ten years I have worked as a counsellor with Cruse Bereavement Care, within my own Private Practice and also within the NHS with I.A.P’s work. Having had this varied client load has meant that I have experienced a range of supervisors myself that have all added invaluable experience to my role as a supervisor. I have also experienced group supervision as a therapist which has been highly beneficial to my own supervision group work.

Working from a person centred perspective means I put great value in the relationship between client and therapist and also between supervisor and supervisee. An initial session may give us both a feel of how we might work together, with no commitment on your part as to an ongoing supervision relationship.

I can offer both individual supervision and group sessions. If you’re unsure which supervisory style will work best for you, don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss the options and what may be best suited to your needs.
